St. Louis-based Wind Capital Group (WCG) has hired David Boyce as senior vice president of finance. Boyce joins the company after working at E.ON Climate & Renewables as the senior vice president of finance.
‘David's experience in the wind energy industry, as well as with raising capital, will be major assets to our company as we continue our rapid growth,’ says WCG President Tom Carnahan.
In his new role, Boyce will focus on capital raising – specifically raising debt to fund turbine acquisitions and the construction of projects – placing long-term debt on operating projects, arranging associated credit lines and monetizing the federal tax benefits of wind projects through tax equity investments.
Boyce has a degree from the University of Chicago. He will work from WCG's Chicago office.
