Vestas says it has received an order from E.ON Climate & Renewables GmbH for a total of 267 MW of offshore wind projects in Sweden and the U.K.
The supply and installation agreement calls for 89 units of Vestas' V112-3.0 MW offshore wind turbines. The contract includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a five-year service and maintenance agreement.
Installation is expected to take place between 2013 and 2014.
