Turbine maker Vestas continues to increase its headcount for its Colorado-based wind energy production facilities.
According to Michael Zarin, company spokesperson, Vestas is looking to fill about 250 openings at the Windsor, Colo. blades factory – a continuation of the 400-person ramp up the company announced at the beginning of the year.Â
In addition to the Windsor blade plant, Zarin notes that there are about 100 openings in the Brighton, Colo., blades factory.
Vestas will host two job fairs in August. The first will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 15 at Vestas Brighton, 1500 East Crown Prince Blvd, Brighton, Colo. The second will occur from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 22 at Vestas Windsor, 11140 Eastman Park Dr., Windsor, Colo.
