Vaisala has released its WTS measurement system, which is specifically engineered for wind resource assessment, power curve measurement and monitoring operational wind farms.
The system includes five configurations that offer customers a choice of specialized features. These include a cold-climate option, which ensures performance in the harshest weather conditions, and an option that employs sensors designed to last more than 20 years.
Vaisala says customers can own or lease the WTS equipment, or use the offering as a complete service – with Vaisala managing the equipment and collecting and reporting the data.
