United Technologies Corp. (UTC) says it plans to sell off wind turbine manufacturer Clipper Windpower as part of a deal to acquire Goodrich Corp.
According to UTC, Clipper Windpower – along with other UTC businesses Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, Milton Roy, Sullair and Sundyne – are being held for sale and have been moved to discontinued operations in UTC's financial statement.
