UpWind Solutions Inc., a Medford, Ore.-based wind asset management services firm, says it has appointed Peter Wells as the company's new CEO.
Wells, who was previously UpWind's chief operating officer (COO), succeeds Marty Crotty, who has left the company.
As COO, Wells has been leading overall corporate operations, as well as championing UpWind's blade services and new spare-parts division. He came to UpWind in 2010 after a decade of service at GE Energy, where he served as vice president of parts services for GE Nuclear for five years.
