Dallas-based Trinity Industries Inc. has announced the election of Antonio Carrillo as vice president and Jared S. Richardson as secretary and associate general counsel.
Carrillo joined Trinity in 1996 as vice president of operations of Trinity Industries de Mexico and, in 1999, was promoted to president of Trinity Industries de Mexico. In 2005, he was named president of Trinity's energy equipment group, which includes the company's structural wind towers business, as well as businesses that manufacture tank containers, tank heads and propane tanks. In 2009, Carrillo was named group president of the energy equipment group and retains responsibility for Trinity's operations in Mexico.
Richardson joined Trinity earlier this year. Prior to joining the company, he served as senior counsel and assistant secretary for Energy Future Holdings Corp. (formerly TXU Corp.). During his time there, he was involved in virtually every aspect of corporate governance and corporate secretary matters, including regulatory compliance, proxy statement preparation, director recruiting and creation of internal policies on a range of topics.
