Thomas & Betts Introduces Cyberex Cyberwave Three-Phase UPS

0

Thomas & Betts has introduced the Cyberex Cyberwave industrial three-phase, uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The product features advanced topology that separates the rectifier and charger, enabling the inverter to operate at greater efficiency and provide better control of the UPS' output, according to the company.

The inverter also tolerates high overloads because an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT)-based pulse width modulation design enables efficient and rapid switching, according to Thomas & Betts. With operation to an ambient temperature of 50 degrees C and 10% power derating, the UPS is suitable forrugged industrial environments.

The product's topology also prolongs the service life of the batteries by using advanced charging technology.

An online, double conversion system, the UPS is compliant with Underwriters Laboratories, offering from 10 kVA to 150 kVA ratings with a 20-year service life. Â
