Greenwich, Conn.-based private equity firm Starwood Energy Group has agreed to purchase the 250 MW Northwest Ohio Wind Project, located in Ohio's Van Wert and Paulding counties.
Starwood is buying the wind farm from Trishe Resources Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed. The wind farm's first 100 MW of capacity are expected to be operational by late next year. Construction on the project began in December 2013.
Earlier this year, Starwood invested in the 377 MW Stephens Ranch wind complex, two-phase project, located near Lubbock, Texas.
