Northwest Ohio Wind Energy LLC has added a new field specialist to its community wind development team. Chris Skinner will work with landowners and farmers in southern Paulding and northern Van Wert counties to develop 300 MW of community-owned wind power projects in the area.
Skinner is the newest full-time employee of National Wind, the manager and developer of Northwest Ohio Wind Energy. He joins field specialists Kelly Ellis and Pete Karlsson at Northwest Ohio Wind Energy's Grover Hill, Ohio, office.
‘With a background in real estate and sales, Chris brings the tools that will help Northwest Ohio Wind Energy make continued progress,’ says Scott Hafner, project developer for Northwest Ohio Wind Energy. ‘His familiarity with plat maps and his title work expertise are great assets, but as a community-based wind development company, we're also excited about the local knowledge he brings.’
Northwest Ohio Wind Energy and National Wind began development work in Paulding and Van Wert counties in January. The field specialist team has made progress in securing acres towards the 30,000-acre goal needed to develop the Northwest Ohio Wind Energy's planned 300 MW community-based wind energy project.
