A new, compact tensioning tool has been added to the Aero range of bolt-tensioning equipment for wind turbines from Tentec Ltd., a U.K.-based designer of bolt-tensioning and tightening equipment for wind turbines.
The latest addition to the wind turbine bolt range for blade and bearing applications is ideal where height restrictions mean that the existing double-deck bolt tensioners cannot be used.
Features of the single-deck tools include an overstroke limiter, geared nut rundown and a fail-safe feature to ensure safety standards, according to the company.
