Atwell-Hicks, a land development consulting firm based in Ann Arbor, Mich., has hired Damon Sinars as a senior project manager for its power and energy division.
Sinars has over 15 years of experience in natural resources, with an emphasis on turnkey project management, permit acquisition and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission compliance for renewable energy, electric transmission and oil and gas pipeline projects.
Prior to joining Atwell-Hicks, he was a senior project manager and central region NEPA coordinator with Ecology and Environment Inc., an international environmental consulting firm.
‘Damon's experience and extensive industry relationships allow us to offer our valued energy clients expanded programs and services and strengthens our geographic coverage for those operating at a national level,’ says Tim Augustine, vice president of power and energy.
Atwell-Hicks' power and energy division was created in response to increased client demand for land development support services in the areas of renewable energy, electric transmission, oil and gas pipelines and distributed energy systems.
Sinars has a master's degree from Duke University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a member of the American Wind Energy Association.
