Simrit says it has added the Ventoguard 453 and Ventoguard 454 products to its line of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) sealing materials.
The two new NBR offerings are designed primarily for use in slewing bearing-profile seals in wind turbines. The company adds that the products address specific challenges related to wind power applications: Ventoguard 453 offers excellent cold flexibility, very good compression set and superior aging in several greases, including Kluber, Fuchs and Mobil; Ventoguard 454 provides superior compression set and is optimized for use in Shell Rhodina BBZ greases.
