Renewable energy consultancy SgurrEnergy has launched an online data management portal to help developers to manage large-scale or global wind measurement campaigns.
Built and operated by the company's in-house analysts, SgurrDataPortal was designed and developed using over 10 years of data recovery and analysis experience, with further input from wind farm developers. The company says SgurrDataPortal captures a range of data from onshore and offshore meteorological mast instrumentation and LIDAR and SODAR devices.
"The SgurrDataPortal Web service takes measured data management to the next level," comments Robbie Gibson, SgurrEnergy's director of measurement. "Our expert measurement engineers and technicians can maximize the value of the data by providing detailed analysis and advice on key trends to allow clients a global perspective on the status of their measurement campaign."
