Second Wind has named Jason Wood director of European sales. Based in the U.K., Wood will be responsible for developing sales in Europe, specifically in Eastern Europe's emerging wind markets, where countries such as Poland, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Ukraine are showing potential for wind energy development.
Wood's responsibilities will include identifying and developing sales opportunities for Second Wind's Triton and Nomad 2 wind resource data logger.
Wood joins Second Wind from Moog Insensys, a supplier of blade load-monitoring systems for utility wind turbine applications, where he was responsible for global sales.
