RMT Inc. subsidiary RMT WindConnect – a Madison, Wis.-based company involved with wind energy development, engineering and construction – has announced that long-time RMT employee Steve Streblow and utility industry veteran Peter Steitz have joined the group.

Streblow, who has been with RMT for more than 21 years, most recently served as vice president of executive client development. In his new position, Streblow will support RMT WindConnect efforts as manager of business development, focusing on wind energy site development.

Steitz's background includes 36 years in the electric utility industry working in management, sales and operations. His most recent duties were as senior vice president for power supply at Wisconsin Public Power Inc. He has also directed several studies and presented a number of papers on the application of advanced generation technologies, including fuel cells, solar, wind and energy storage.

‘Peter's and Steve's enthusiasm to join our group provides affirmation of RMT's position as the leading design-build firm in the wind energy market,’ says Mark Osten, director of business development for RMT WindConnect. ‘We look forward to Peter's business expertise in working with utility customers as they enter and expand into the wind energy market, and to Steve's professional guidance in helping our customers secure cost-effective sites for wind facility development.’
