Renergix Apps LLC has launched QueueView, a new iPad app designed for California energy developers.
QueueView is based on a geographic platform that provides the location of utility substations at which an interconnection request has been filed with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), along with all of the interconnection details provided by CAISO.
This new tool gives energy developers the ability to screen sites while interactively reviewing interconnection queue positions, as well as the capability to filter sites by utility and generating technology, Renergix explains.
QueueView also provides on-site or project developers the ability to obtain real-time driving directions to the substation of interest. This release of QueueView uses the same grid generator queue database as maintained by CAISO for all three California investor-owned utilities: Pacific Gas and Electric Co. (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE) and San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E).
QueueView, along with the CAISO database for SDG&E, can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store. The CAISO interconnection queue databases for PG&E and SCE are available for purchase.
