Raycap has upgraded Strikesorb, its flagship surge suppression device.
According to Raycap, the enhancements upgrade the Strikesorb 30 to a Class I surge protective device, in addition to its present Class II rating, per IEC 61643-11. The enhanced version provides systems designer’s additional flexibility in installing the Strikesorb 30 in locations experiencing both direct and indirect lightning currents, the company notes.
The modules also have UL Type 2 component assembly certification.
