The Wind Energy Techno Centre's 4th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Conference will take place June 14-16 at Hotel des Commandants in Gaspe. This conference will also include Quebec's 2nd Wind Energy Industry Gala.
The event, which is expected to draw about 175 participants, will feature about 15 speakers. Participants will be able to learn more about and gain a greater understanding of the industry, as well as discuss the issues with key players in the wind energy network. The conference will deal with several current issues of interest to the wind power industry, including economic growth engines, the supply chain and wind farm maintenance.
Quebec's 2nd Wind Energy Industry Gala, presented by Hydro-Quebec, aims to salute the organizations and individuals that have earned particular distinction in Quebec's wind power sector over the last three years.
Organizations and individuals have until May 7 to make nominations for the gala. A jury will be responsible for selecting finalists and winners.
