PowerGuard Specialty Insurance Services has hired Fred Hilsendager as company vice president.
The company says that Hilsendager brings more than 20 years of retail and wholesale brokerage experience, as well as experience in insurance, risk management and warranty solutions for renewable energy companies and turbine manufacturers.
Hilsendager will be responsible for working with retail brokers, project developers, and alternative energy investors.
