Power Climber Wind, a division of SafeWorks LLC, has introduced the new IBEX 1000P climb-assist system for wind projects.
The 1000P features a portable control box that weighs only 8.5 lbs., and the controller allows each user to customize assistance from 50 lbs. to 125 lbs. This capability provides consistent load support, regardless of climbing speed, and down-climb assistance. The system can be installed in any wind turbine tower, the company says.
