Peter Mastic has joined National Wind as president and chief development officer with overall responsibility for project development and project finance. He reports to CEO Leon Steinberg.
Mastic is the founder and previously served as CEO of Third Planet Windpower LLC. Prior to this, he was managing director of Noble Environmental Power LLC. He will now lead the development of National Wind's project portfolio, consisting of 15 community wind farms, with over 4,000 MW in active development.
Mastic has initiated and managed the development, financing construction and commissioning of more than 20 wind projects comprising more than 5 GW across the U.S. More than 500 MW of those projects were successfully constructed and are operational.
