Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Tennessee Valley Infrastructure Group Inc. (TVIG), an engineering, procurement and construction/balance-of-plant provider for wind power projects, has named Peter de Vos chairman and CEO. The announcement was made by TVIG's founder, Richard H. Ector, who previously served as chairman and CEO. Ector will remain the firm's president and chief operating officer.
Prior to joining TVIG, de Vos served for eight years as head of U.S. investment banking for RBC Capital Markets.
de Vos graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with merit, and joined the U.S. submarine service, where he was licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency to run nuclear reactors. He served aboard two submarines and also acted as the Washington, D.C.-based assignment officer for all nuclear-trained submarine officers.
