OwnEnergy Inc., a wind development company that partners with landowners to develop and own their own midsized wind farms, has hired Ray Henger and Chip Readling.
Henger joins OwnEnergy as finance director and will lead efforts that encompass corporate and project finance. Henger was formerly a managing director in Credit Suisse's U.S. power and renewables group. He assisted his clients in raising more than $20 billion in debt and equity, primarily for unregulated generation owners and developers.
Readling joins the company as a senior project manager and is responsible for the development of projects across the Midwest. He is involved in all aspects of wind farm development, from building local partner relationships through project permitting, construction and interconnection.
Prior to OwnEnergy, Readling spent four years with Noble Environmental Power, where he was director of development for a five-state region and involved in over 900 MW of wind projects.
In addition, OwnEnergy recently closed an addition to its series A round from two new investors: Clearpoint Ventures and GoGreen Capital.
