Oskvig Joins EPRI Advisory Council

Dean Oskvig, president and CEO of global energy business for Black & Veatch, has been appointed to the advisory council of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). The advisory council acts in a consultative relationship with EPRI management and its board of directors to represent societal needs and public interests in EPRI's research programs.

The council is made up of 30 leaders drawn from the broad spectrum of stakeholders in the electricity industry, including representatives from the regulatory community, environmental groups, financial and organized labor sectors, industrial and other electricity consumers, and academia.

‘With more than 30 years of experience in developing energy infrastructure with Black & Veatch, Dean has a broad knowledge base on leading industry issues,’ says Steven Specker, president and CEO of EPRI. ‘We believe his insights will be very valuable as we prioritize and fund our various research projects regarding the production and distribution of electricity.’
