New Jersey-based offshore wind energy developer Fishermen's Energy says that Chris Wissemann has been appointed as the company's CEO.
Wissemann is one of the leading executives in the North American offshore wind industry, having been a founder of Deepwater Wind and recently having led Great Lakes Wind Energy LLC. He has 29 years of experience as a manager, executive and developer in the energy industry.
Wissemann led the initial development of Deepwater Wind's 28 MW Block Island demonstration project and Garden State's 350 MW proposal to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
