The Nordex Group has received a U.S. order from an undisclosed utility for 38 wind turbines from the N149/4.0-4.5 Delta4000 series.
The machines, to be installed at a Texas wind farm with a proposed capacity of approximately 180 MW, will be delivered in summer 2020.
The order will include supply and delivery of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year service agreement.
The turbines will be the second of their kind installed at a U.S. wind project. Nordex also recently secured an order in Oklahoma for the N149/4.0-4.5 Delta4000 series.
