Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex says Dr. Jurgen Zeschky will succeed Thomas Richterich as CEO of the company, effective April 1, 2012. An earlier starting date may be possible, depending on the outcome of talks for the early termination of his contract with his current employer, Voith GmbH.
With a doctorate degree in mechanical engineering, Zeschky has been head of the industrial division of Voith Turbo since 2003. Prior to this, he held a management position at a Siemens subsidiary in the U.S.
The CEO vacancy arose when Richterich said he would not be renewing his contract in summer 2012.
