Tony Fogarassy has been named director of corporate projects and general counsel for Vancouver-based NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc., where he will support commercial negotiations and help manage corporate projects related to commercial property, resource tenure, environmental assessment and regulatory processes, public policy and First Nations affairs. He will also take the lead on all legal responsibilities for the company.
Fogarassy joins the company from Clark Wilson LLP, a Vancouver law firm, where he founded and chaired the firm's energy law group and was chairman of the firm's newly formed aboriginal practice group. Fogarassy also has extensive experience as a geologist. He has worked on projects throughout western Canada and on Canada's three coasts as well as internationally for industry and government.
