NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. has announced the appointment of Dave Rehn to its board of directors. Rehn is executive vice president of generation and wholesale energy with ENMAX Corp., where he is responsible for the negotiation, construction and operation of the corporation's power generation facilities and management of the wholesale energy portfolio.
ENMAX is NaiKun's strategic partner for the first phase of a wind power project in British Columbia's Hecate Strait.
Prior to joining ENMAX, Rehn held key positions with Constellation Energy and Rovsing Dynamics. He also served with Duke Energy Corp. for 25 years in a variety of positions, including president and CEO of Duke Energy Power Services North America.

Burns. ‘Mr. Rehn's experience and expertise, along with the continued involvement of ENMAX, will be indispensable as we move forward with development of our project.’
NaiKun also confirmed planned changes at the executive level, with Burns becoming non-executive chair of the board of directors. Paul Taylor has been named NaiKun's president and CEO.
