Broadwind Energy Inc. has promoted Mike Ford to vice president of sales. In this newly created role, Ford will lead the company's efforts to provide integrated solutions to its wind, energy and industrial customers.
Ford served as sourcing and special projects leader in Broadwind's wind gearing and services business. He joined the company in 2008 from GE Energy's global sourcing team, where he served as lean leader. Ford previously served as global commodity leader for GE Energy Wind. Ford began his career with Siemens Energy and Automation as a master scheduler and manufacturing manager.
