juwi Group has named Michael Rucker CEO for the company's U.S. wind division, which will be based in Boulder, Colo.
Rucker most recently served as vice president of business development at Clipper Windpower. Prior to that, he was Western region commercial director at GE Energy.
The juwi Group has signed a power purchase agreement with Omaha Public Power District for the 60 MW Flat Water Wind Farm in Nebraska, which will be owned and operated by Gallop Power.
In addition, juwi is developing wind projects in Kansas, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota and Michigan.
