meteodyn, a provider of wind engineering and wind resource assessment software, has introduced a new version of its meteodyn WT software.
Version 4.3 uses computational fluid dynamics to assess an area's wind resource, determine the best location for the wind turbines and optimize turbine production.
The company says the new version of the software allows users to buy mesoscale data online and download it directly from the software; compute losses and production uncertainties; and improve multiple met mast analyses, thanks to two new methods (nearest mast and by user-defined zone), among other features.
