Greg Lee, senior vibration applications engineer at LUDECA, has received his level-two certification from Technical Associates. Lee, who has an industrial engineering background from Michigan State, has been working in the vibration field for more than 20 years.
Lee and Trent Phillips, manager of the condition monitoring division, also recently attended online condition monitoring training at Prueftechnik's Monitoring Center in Germany.
A number of Prueftechnik's wind turbine GL Wind Certified Vibroweb XP online monitoring systems have now been installed in the U.S. LUDECA says it has implemented a plan to ensure that its vibration team is ready to support these customers.
At its Miami headquarters, the company has finished construction of training centers for both vibration measurement and analysis as well as machinery alignment programs, where more than 30 technicians and engineers can be trained simultaneously.
