Carpinteria, Calif.-based Clipper Windpower Inc. has appointed John A. Lamb as president and CEO of Clipper Windpower Development Co. Inc.

Prior to joining the company, Lamb acted as special corporate legal counsel for a number of Clipper's high-profile transactions, including the Titan joint venture transaction, which represents more than 5,000 MW of wind energy development capacity.
Lamb also worked in a private legal practice, where he represented wind power developers and other entities involved in the wind power industry. He has degrees from Baylor University and the University of Southern California.
