Holbrook, N.Y.-based Hailo LLC, a manufacturer of ladders for wind towers, has developed a new fall arrester for its fall-arresting system. The H50 fall-arresting system is an ANSI Z359.1 – 2007 compliant, rail-guided system that attaches to the Hailo aluminum ladder installed on the wind tower.
Benefits of this fall-arresting system include the ability of more than one technician to climb the ladder at once. It can also be used during the installation process of a wind turbine.
