Merrill L. Kramer and Joshua L. Sturtevant have joined Sullivan & Worcester's energy and project finance practice.
According to the law firm, Kramer joins the practice as counsel. He previously served as chair of the derivatives and structured products practice at a major New York law firm and as managing member of a venture capital firm specializing in renewable energy. As an advisor to the energy industry, Kramer recently completed a term on the board of directors of a residential solar leasing company that he helped to take public, and he served on the board of the largest ethanol company in California.
Sturtevant, an associate, has represented clients in energy project development and project finance transactions, policy and regulatory matters, and corporate development matters. He previously served as lead inside legal counsel and as a member of the management team with Distributed Sun, a privately held Washington, D.C.-based renewable energy developer, investor, owner and operator.
Both Kramer and Sturtevant will be based in Washington, D.C.
