National City, Calif.-based Knight & Carver Wind Group has added three executive positions to its organization. The company, which provides wind blade service and maintenance for wind farms in the U.S, has hired Mark Simon as chief operating officer, Craig Robinson as senior composite engineer and Manuel Quintero as human resources director.
An expert in strategic management planning, Simon brings more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and operations to his new role. Fluent in Spanish, he has managed manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Mexico. Most recently, he was an auto-parts production executive based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. He will direct Knight & Carver's continued growth in the U.S. and into international markets.
Robinson has more than 20 years of experience designing, analyzing and developing products made out of composite materials. Innovations he has been involved with include industry-leading carbon fiber tennis rackets, carbon fiber mountain bikes and the hollow surfboards. He brings process efficiencies to both small and large composite projects.
Quintero coordinates all hiring and employment for Knight & Carver. He joins the company after four years with BMW USA in Los Angeles. A graduate of the University of California at Riverside, he also holds a master's degree in human resources from Claremont College.
