Investment firm Jefferies has named Jesse Pichel a managing director and senior equity research analyst covering clean technology companies. He has more than 10 years of experience as an equity research analyst and is joined by Senior Vice President Elaine Kwei and equity research associates Min Xu and Constance Wang.
The addition of these professionals extends Jefferies' established global coverage of the Clean Technology sector, which includes more than 50 companies across the wind solar, smart grid, LED, geothermal, energy storage, fuel cell, biofuels and biomaterials, and transportation industries.
Pichel joins Jefferies from Piper Jaffray, where he spent seven years, most recently as a managing director for clean technology equity research.
Kwei has covered the clean technology sector for the past four years, most recently as a research analyst at Piper Jaffray and previously as a research associate at Signal Hill Capital.
Xu has covered clean technology and telecommunication services at Piper Jaffray and Sandford Group, respectively.
Wang joins Jefferies from Piper Jaffray, where she covered clean technology companies.
