IXYS Corp. and Clare Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of IXYS, have introduced the IXD_609 line, the latest in the 600 series of high-current, ultra-fast, low-side gate driver integrated circuits. The IXD_609's high-current output can source and sink 9A of peak current while producing voltage rise and fall times of less than 25 nanoseconds, according to the company.
The IXD_609 can operate with supply voltages of 4.5V to 35V, and is specified over the -40 degrees C to +125 degrees C automotive temperature range.
