Amy Francetic, former founding executive director of Clean Energy Trust (CET) in Chicago, has joined independent renewable power generation company Invenergy as senior vice president of new ventures and corporate affairs.
Francetic will join the management team and report to CEO Michael Polsky. According to Invenergy, Francetic, who retired from CET in December, has more than 20 years of executive management experience in the energy, wireless and information technology industries.
“I worked closely with Amy as a founding board member of Clean Energy Trust for six years and know that her knowledge of the clean energy industry and new technologies is unmatched,” says Polsky. “We are excited to tap into her expertise as we broaden Invenergy’s business into new technologies globally.”
Invenergy says she will help source and integrate technology innovation into the company’s existing portfolio of clean energy assets, including wind, solar, natural gas and storage.
Additionally, Francetic will lead Invenergy’s external corporate affairs, where she will focus on deepening existing relationships and building new business partnerships. Invenergy is headquartered in Chicago and has regional development offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan and Europe.
