Newly formed Hughey & Phillips LLC has acquired an exclusive, perpetual license and all assets for the locally manufactured obstruction lighting products from Urbana, Ohio-based Honeywell Aerospace.
The asset purchase and licensing agreement allows Hughey & Phillips to continue providing obstruction lighting and associated products and services to the wind energy, building and telecommunications markets.
Products include FlashGuard lighting systems, which meet Federal Aviation, Federal Communications Commission, International Civil Aviation Organization and other international regulations.
‘The new Hughey & Phillips is backed by an experienced leadership team that continues to see increased performance in the aviation lighting industry, even during adverse economic conditions,’ says Jeff Jacobs, vice president of sales at Hughey & Phillips.
Terms of the agreement were not released.
