Heil Trailer International Makes Personnel Changes

Athens, Tenn.-based Heil Trailer International (HTI), a manufacturer of wind turbine/blade, heavy-haul, oil-field trailers, recently made several personnel changes. The company promoted Greg Hewitt to operating company president. Hewitt has 22 years of experience with diversified manufacturing across different industries both in the U.S. and internationally. In the past year, he led HTI's North American operations, as well as global supply chain, product management, IT, customer service, and sales and marketing. Previously, Hewitt held leadership roles with Maytag Corp., Textron and Komatsu.Â

The company also promoted Bill Harris to corporate business development manager, where his key focus will be to continue HTI's global expansion initiatives by securing strong long-term relationships and business development plans with supplier partners and business units.

Before joining HTI, Harris served in a variety of management positions as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his current assignment with HTI, Harris was working with Heil's defense products group as the military business development manager.


Finally, HTI has appointed Cory Gerlach director of supply chain. He brings more than 15 years of logistics, materials, purchasing and supply chain experience to HTI, having most recently served as Mastercraft Boat Co.'s supply chain leader.Â
