Former President George W. Bush will be speaking at WINDPOWER 2010 in Dallas in May, the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) reports.
The former president will talk about his experience as Texas' governor and will also speak about his role in advancing the wind energy agenda while he was president. According to AWEA, Texas has the most installed wind energy in the U.S., and it was Bush who first raised the prospect of obtaining 20% of U.S. electricity from wind by 2030.
The former President now lives in Dallas.
