According to the Tribune-Democrat, Spanish supplier Gamesa USA is laying off 141 workers at its Pennsylvania fiber blade plant.
The facility will be idle during December, which has been planned since July as part of a workforce restructuring and plant retooling.
Gamesa opened the facility in 2006 and has been working through 2009 on changes to the facility that will allow for production of larger blades.
