Stephen Bransfield has joined TPI Composites Inc.'s board of directors. Bransfield, a 37-year veteran of GE – 12 years with GE Energy and 25 years with GE Aircraft Engines and GE Aerospace – brings his operations and manufacturing experience to TPI.
Most recently, Bransfield served as vice president of global supply chain for GE Energy, where he was responsible for the manufacturing and purchasing of power generation equipment, including wind, gas, steam, and hydro turbines and generators. His responsibilities included leading more than 12,000 employees and managing more than 100 global factories.
Prior to GE Energy, Bransfield served as general manager of GE Aircraft Engines, where he was responsible for the operations of five factories in the U.S. and Canada and for overseeing 6,000 employees.
