First Wind Names Toyofuku SVP Of Information Technology

First Wind, an independent U.S.-based wind energy company, has promoted Keske Toyofuku to senior vice president (SVP) of information and technology and chief information officer.

Since joining First Wind in 2008, Toyofuku has been responsible for developing First Wind's information technology strategy to support the company's business and operational needs. In his new and expanded role, he will be responsible for driving innovation at First Wind, as well as overseeing the company's strategic vision for IT and supervisory control and data acquisition systems.

Prior to his promotion, Toyofuku served as vice president and chief information officer. During his tenure with First Wind, he has been responsible for managing the implementation of major business applications systems, disaster recovery systems, operation data acquisition systems, and First Wind's overall security strategy. Before joining First Wind, he worked for a global energy consulting firm, managing infrastructure and information technology strategy.
