Newton, Mass.-based First Wind has named three people to its executive management team.
Kurt Adams, who has served as First Wind's senior vice president of transmission since May, was promoted to executive vice president and chief development officer. He will be responsible for the development of First Wind projects nationwide.
Carol J. Grant has joined the company as senior vice president of external affairs. Grant, former chief of operations for the city of Providence, R.I., comes to the company with 30 years of executive experience in law, general management and public affairs.
Lori Erickson has joined the company as senior vice president of human resources. With nearly 25 years of HR experience, Erickson will oversee all aspects of hiring, recruiting and employee development within the company.
