Pittsburgh-based EverPower Wind Holdings has named Michael Current as its chief financial officer.
Current – who spent the last three years at NRG Energy as its vice president of strategy and mergers and acquisitions – has more than 20 years of experience in finance and energy.
EverPower notes that his experience in merger and acquisitions, as well as his financial operations background, will help guide the company into the future.
‘(His) experience will bolster and complement both our operations and long-term growth objectives,’ says Jim Spencer, EverPower's CEO and president.
EverPower – founded in 2002 – currently has seven operational wind facilities with nameplate capacity of approximately 752 MW.
