Operation Technology Inc. (ETAP), a developer of software for power systems, has expanded its offering for renewable power systems design, analysis and operation.
According to ETAP, the expansion includes a renewable energy model for wind turbine generators, such as doubly fed induction machines and full-scale power converters.
The company says the software enables designers and engineers to conceptualize wind and solar systems, determine renewable energy penetration levels and perform grid interconnection studies.
